I met Adie just over a year ago in Hong Kong through our Sifu Samual Kwok. We bonded straight away and formed a great friendship. It was good to meet someone as crazy as me. At 5am every morning we'd be up in the mountain training. I thought that we'd be the only ones there at that time in the morning but I then realised that most Chinese people must be kinda mad too, as the mountain was crowded with people doing Ti Chi.
Adie helped me to develop my Wing Chun and we shared our other fighting skills together. I've been in the fight game since the age of 4 with my Dad, Paddy Monaghan teaching me, so Ive came across many fighters in my life but only a few will stay fixed in my mind, Adie is one of these few. I like his style of fighting and philosophy of life.
Adie is a family man and he values his lovely wife and child and he values his friends to a high degree.
Adie is a human form of Yin Yang, he's soft hearted but also a hard bastard, he'll give you the last crumb from his mouth but you know not to mess with him.
Adie to me is a true friend and he has proved that to me many times.
God Bless ya Adie, be lucky bro.
